Samsung Galaxy S3 Launched

The most awaited Smartphone of the year, Galaxy S3 was released yesterday. The phone is having a row of new features and will be a rival for the Apple’s iPhone. Galaxy S3 has become very demanding after the company released the Galaxy S2 phone. The Galaxy S3 is having 4.8in screen which make use super AMOLED technology. The screen size is larger than S2. The phone is having an 8 megapixel rear camera for capturing pictures and videos on the move. One of the main features of the phone is voice control and there are lots of new applications. The company aims to get into the top position in the mobile market with this phone.

There is a 1.9MP front camera which can be used for video conferencing. One of the most demanding features of the phone is the Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. Eye tracking and voice recognition are some of the additional features introduced by Samsung. In UK, the phone will be available by 30^th May. The price has not been announced yet.

The phone is also compatible with 4G networks. So, if the 3G becomes outdated, there is no need to trash your phone, you might use the same phone. Words like "wake up", "snooze" could be told to the phone and the phone will respond accordingly. So, if you set the alarm, you don’t have to search for the button, all you have to say is "snooze".

The phone is available in 32GB version, 15GB version. The company has also announced that a 64GB model will be made available soon. There are many other accessories that are made available along with the phone like optional wireless charging pad.

44m Smartphone have been sold by the company in the first quarter of 2012. The inclusion of the Android Operating System is one of the reasons for the demand of the Samsung Galaxy phones. 50% of the Smartphone that are made in the market are from Samsung. Seems like BlackBerry, Nokia, HTC and Sony will have to work hard to make a demanding phone.
