Thumb drive or pen drive has become indispensable now a day. We use it for transferring songs, movies, office data and so on. Now pen drives with 16 GB and 32 GB storages are also available. One of the annoying problems while using the pen drive is the virus. Even though you format pen drive, again virus might make the way to the device. So here is a solution to resolve the issue.
An exe file is created by the VIRUS and most probably the name will be New Folder.exe. Your folder options may not work after the virus enters the computer. The time taken to access the pen drive will also get increased and ‘Task manager’ might also get disabled.
Solution
Download the tool from here.
1. After downloading and running the tool, click on “Delete Autorun.inf file”.
2. You will see another button, ‘Remove virus from USB’. The virus in the pen drive will be removed.
3. Registry editor and task manager could be restored back to the defaults by using this tool. For restoring registry editor and task manager, you just need to click on “Restore Default Windows Settings”.
