If you thought the only way to change the status in Facebook is to login to your Facebook account and type your status, then this tip is especially for you. You can update your status anytime and from anywhere. Let’s try this out:
a) First create an application of your own on Facebook. To do this you would need to go to this link https://developers.facebook.com/apps.
b) Click on the +Create New App icon located at the top right hand side of the screen.
c) Select a name for your App. The cooler the name of the app the more chances it has to get noticed.
d) The id of your new App (e.g.: 44445555551111) needs to be entered in the below URL as shown:
http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&api;_key=44445555551111
e) Once the above step is completed the URL can be typed in your browser’s address bar and is ready to be used.
